Bring the family and enjoy a Virginia Master Naturalist-led Monthly Hike at Pleasant Grove Park.
Come to the Butterfly Garden and meet the pollinators! We will take a tour of this lovely garden created by the Master Gardeners. See what butterflies, bees, and other pollinators are out and about and what plants they are attracted to. We’ll stop at the Chestnut plot next to the garden and learn about the most recent efforts to restore the American Chestnut tree to our landscape, then take a walk on the self-guided trail. The Garden is in full sun, so bring plenty of water and sun protection!
