The Fluvanna Master Gardeners are looking for people who enjoy gardening, want to meet new people, learn more, and then to share their skills and help the community.
The Fluvanna County Master Gardener Training Class is scheduled to begin January 15, 2019 through April 30, 2019 at the Palmyra Fire House on Route 15. Horticultural professionals will be conducting one 3-hour session per week from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The course provides quality education at a reasonable price and consists of a total of 50 instructional hours comprised of classroom lectures and hands-on demonstrations.

To learn more, plan to attend one of our informational sessions which will include a short presentation, application packet, and a Q&A session. The sessions will be held at the Fluvanna County Public Library on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm and Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:30 am.
Class Cost: $150 which includes a $10.00 background screening fee that is required for all volunteers accepted into the Master Gardener program. Application deadline is December 14, 2018.
