Hi, All Gardening Friends - Thank you for making our May 3 Plant Sale a success. The proceeds will enable us to continue our Plant a Row project at the Community Garden at Pleasant Grove, the Children's Garden at Carysbrook Elementary, providing community education programs and many other activities promoting environmentally sound horticulture practices. We look forward to seeing you at our gardening Help Desk at the Pleasant Grove Farmers' Market on Tuesdays from 2 to 5 pm or contact us online at www.fluvannamg.org.
The FMG Plant Sale is Saturday May 3, 2014!!
Sale begins at 9 am and ends at noon. There will be a selection of deer resistant plants (please note – no plant is deer proof); sun and shade plants; annuals and perennials. Edibles will include herbs, tomatoes and peppers.
Some of our plants are grown by our Fluvanna Master Gardeners. However, we are a small group and cannot grow enough variety and quantities to meet the demand. We obtain the rest of our plants from an established local nursery in Fluvanna. The plants we sell are used to local growing conditions.
Fluvanna Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your gardening and plant questions.
Please come and support our fundraising effort. Funds are used to promote environmentally sound horticulture practices through educational and other programs in the Fluvanna community.
Please see the Public Events column on right of our Home page for May 3 to find location and directions. Contact us at [email protected] for more information.
