Help with a Gardening Question

Soil Test Kits
VCE staff is working remotely at the present time but has left soil test kits outside the office for your use. Once your sample is ready to be mailed, please call 434-591-1950 to arrange a time for drop off of the kit and your check. Please be aware that staffing changes at VT due to COVID-19 are increasing sample turn-around time.
The Insect Identification Lab is currently open but will only accept electronic images for insects that are not of medical or veterinary importance. If you have an insect that you want identified Click Here to complete our Help Desk Contact Form.
VT is currently recommending electronic images for plant disease questions to minimize staff and volunteer exposure to COVID-19 during processing of samples.
If you must send a plant to the VT Plant Clinic, you must follow the instructions Virginia Tech has provided regarding sample submissions. Failure to follow VT Instructions may prevent the Clinic from processing your submission. Again, you will need to contact the VCE office 434-591-1950 to arrange dropoff.
