Cindy Anne Trentacosta is our speaker. She is a former Master Gardener and an avid grower of vegetables.
"I took the master gardener class in 2000, we moved to this area in March of 1999 so I missed the first Fluvanna class. I was president of the FMG's for a few years way back when. My passion with gardening has always been vegetables, almost all heirloom. Even with my flowers, I get a thrill by saving seeds and creating a plant from a tiny seed. This past fall, my family started a commercial venture in growing garlic for local restaurant chefs, we planted almost 2,000 cloves of garlic and several hundred Elephant garlic and shallots as well."
