We provide speakers to large and small groups and offer consultations for horticultural challenges. Complete the Contact Us form and a Fluvanna Master Gardener will respond within a week.
Our members logged 4,283 hours on volunteer projects during 2010. That means Fluvanna County enjoyed $86,000 of community service. Some of our popular projects are FMG Help Desk, Lake Monticello Beautification Corps, Fluvanna Community Garden at Pleasant Grove, Children's Garden and Plant A Row for the Hungry. And we provided a couple of scholarships so that some of our young residents could attend 4-H Camp last summer.
The training class, which is usually held from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on Wednesdays at the Meeting Room at the Fluvanna County Public Library.
