1. What is it?

Cecropia moth, the largest found in North America (4-3/4 to 5-7/8") Found in Frank's yard.

2. What is it?

I found this flying around the bronze fennel. It appears to be some kind of wasp. Sorry the photos aren't better but with a digital camera and trying to keep up with this guy, not much focusing was going on.
Body is bright red, black or possibly dark blue wings, and yellow legs!
