<p align="LEFT">The Lake Monticello Owners&#8217; Association Subcommittee on Leaf Disposal Alternatives has teamed with Fluvanna County, Fluvanna Extension Service and Fluvanna Master Gardens to offer a free comprehensive workshop on composting on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 3 to 5 PM in the Terrace Room of the Clubhouse on Ashlawn Blvd (enter through Main Gate). Master Gardener Irene Burke and others will talk about composting and demonstrate a variety of composting methods. There will be handouts and displays of composting equipment, including a number of Geobin systems, donated by Fluvanna County using the State grant for litter, recycling and education. There will be light refreshments and door prizes of composting systems.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On Saturday April 30, the Fluvanna Master Gardeners hosted a tomato workshop presented by Marie Taylor.  Not only did Marie share a wealth of information about tomatoes and growing tomatoes, she also shared her baked goods made with green tomato mincemeat and tomato paste.</p>
<p>Some MGs have been growing tomatoes over the winter months to sell at the workshop and our attendees were very generous in their support.  Thank you!</p>
